The update is out! Fem chest options, poiyomi 8, and more.

New Features!

Fem Chest Blendshape
Fem Chest size in-game slider (can still be fully flat of course)
Fem chest physics - these change based on chest size to give a more realistic feel
Fem chest physics in-game toggle
Hand claw blendshapes: long, short, large, remove/sheathe
Materials updated to Poiyomi 8! (and metal material improved)
Packed the textures into the blender file so that it should come with textures applied
Added the ComboGestureExpressions prefab to the scene so that you can edit the gesture expressions! This is what I used to make the facial gestures. Must import Hai ComboGestureExpressions to use: https://github.com/hai-vr/combo-gesture-expressions-av3/releases. If you haven't used it before, I recommend reading the instructions here: https://hai-vr.github.io/combo-gesture-expressions-av3/

Fixes and Minor Updates:

Fixed mirroring issue with the head so it is correctly mirrored

Made the Body_All mesh mirrored quads again in blender (had been accidentally triangulated before)

Fixed Body_All shorts toggle being on by default in blender

Changed material names in blender to be more descriptive

Reorganized blendshapes to better indicate which are fully supported and which aren't

Updated the README to reflect the changes

Update 1.1 Release Notes

Unity Update Instructions:

To start from new (suggested) import "April the Cat Update 1.1 Unity Package 7-6-22" into a new unity project following the instructions in the README.

If you want to try importing it into an already existing April the Cat project:

Make a backup of your current project in case something goes wrong!

Import Poiyomi 8 and Hai ComboGestureExpressions (links in README).

Import the April the Cat package.

Reload the April the Cat scene.

Apply the materials that have changed to the avatar - Cat Ears, Face Extras and Blush, Face, Harness Leather, Main Body, Metal All (apply to the earrings), Tail

THIS MAY BREAK THINGS! If it gives you trouble, try importing into a new clean project instead.

Substance Update Instructions:

You can just open the new substance file and use it if you are starting from scratch.

If you want to update your current substance file to have the fem chest option:

Create a backup of your substance file in case of issues!

Open your current file and go to Edit > Project Configuration.

At the top right of the window click the button "Select..."

Navigate to the "April the Cat Substance.fbx" and click Open.

Then click OK.

This will add a female chest version of the avatar above the default avatar. Your texture edits will stay and will be applied to the female chest version also.
